Tutankhamen
During the early life of Tutankhamen he lived a tragic life. He was forced to rule at the age of 9 and died 9 years later. His father died when Tutankhamen was 8.
Tutankhamen was born in to a family of rulers. His father was king Akhenaten who was the son of Amenhotep iii.
Tutankhamen didn’t do that much for Egypt in his lifetime, he didn’t carry out the border of Egypt, he didn’t even become victorious in battle but he is the most recognisable of all the pharaohs. After his death he became very popular because of the finding of his tomb in 1922.
His tomb was important because before the finding it was said that all the pharaoh’s tombs had been robbed and Tutankhamen’s death was a big mystery. A guy by the name of Howard Carter stumbled across the tomb aware of the Tutankhamen curse. The curse says whoever opens the tomb of Tutankhamen will have bad luck for the rest of their life and in the afterlife. This tomb unlocked many secrets of his death and was the only tomb that had many treasures still in there.
